Eduardo Ruiz serves as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for the Global Regions at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. His team provides a full range of legal services to the HPE subsidiaries and operations in all jurisdictions where HPE does business outside of North America.
He joined HP Spain in 1996 and during his tenure at HP/HPE has held a number of management positions within the Legal Department, including the roles of legal director for Iberia (Spain and Portugal), legal director for Central and Eastern Europe (including Russia and CIS), VP & Associate General Counsel for Latin America and Canada, and VP & Associate General Counsel for Southern Europe (Italy, France, Spain and Portugal). Prior to his current role, Eduardo was the Chief of Staff to the CLO from 2015 to 2019.
Eduardo earned a Master’s Degree in Law and a Master’s Degree in Economics, both from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid, Spain, and is admitted to the bar in Madrid.
He was born and raised in Spain and has spent his career in Spain (where he currently resides), Brazil (where he lived for three years) and the USA (where he lived for 4 years). He speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.
