Nina Cronstedt holds the position of Group Chief Legal Officer for Verisure since 2018, based out of the Group headquarter in Switzerland. Verisure is the leading European provider of professionally monitored security systems and protects more than 4 million customers across 12 countries in Europe and four in Latin America, and has over 30,000 employees. Verisure’s mission is to bring peace of mind to families and small business owners by providing them with the best security solutions and services. A pioneer in innovation, Verisure provides sector defining security solutions. In her role, Nina is responsible for Legal, Compliance, Data Privacy and Regulatory Advocacy, with in total over 65 lawyers and other professionals in the function. As part of the Regulatory Advocacy work, the team ensures preparedness for regulatory developments, inputs on specific external regulatory initiatives and engages to help shape the external environment.
Before Verisure, Nina held positions of General Counsel within the Nestlé group and positions of increasing responsibility, including Assistant General Counsel, within the Philip Morris International group.
Leading up to her in-house experience, Nina practiced with Linklaters / De Brauw in Belgium and the Netherlands, advising primarily on EU competition law.
Nina holds law degrees (LL.M.) from University of Stockholm and Cambridge University.
