Farisa is the Senior Privacy Counsel at the Coca-Cola Company based in London. Since joining the company, she has been responsible for providing oversight and guidance over all privacy legal matters relating to consumer data, marketing, digital and e-commerce. She has a strong partnership with the business while providing strategic and solution-oriented legal advice.
Farisa joined The Coca-Cola Company as a Privacy Lawyer handling EU based privacy matters. However, as the landscape of the world and company changed, her role developed to respond to the increasing privacy need in the digital world. Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, she worked for British Telecommunications Plc as a Privacy Lawyer handling the company’s consumer-based privacy matters.
Prior to that, Farisa was a Litigation Lawyer, also for British Telecommunications Plc and handled multi-million-pound claims arising from damage to apparatus belonging to the company as a result of groundworks and other negligence. She has a history of advising large commercial businesses on risk in a fast-changing business environments and evolving regulatory challenges.
Farisa was educated at Birmingham City University and the University of Sheffield. She is a keen traveler and has taken up road running as a result of the UK lockdown.
